Is this the experience that you look for when deciding on your holiday accommodation – a place which is calm, serene and away from the crowds; service which is discreet and caring; accommodation which is spacious and built keeping in mind the regional sensibilities; cuisine which is made fresh daily – these are probably a few of the things on your preference list. 7 kilometers from Nakki Lake, hidden behind tall bamboo’s and silver oak trees en-route Gurushikar Road opposite Peace park, Ratan Villas is a 20 Villa and 5 rooms boutique luxury resort with a restaurant, a café bar.
Ratan Villas resort is away from the noise and crowds of Mount Abu. We have limited but very fresh menus and often procure most of the organic vegetables from the local village – Oriya. We offer amazing experiences like a meal under the sky on the topmost hill within resort premises, teaching in a local school, treks in the mountains and bird watching particularly Green Munia.
Additionally, room guest can enjoy the Well Being Hut for well deserved massages.
This 4-acre luxury resort with its eco-friendly habitat is designed to not intrude on its premises. It creates a series of alternating spatial experiences that compound its organic and rustic feel. The public areas of the resort, its private residences and meadowed terraces are singularly geared to amplify the experience of being one with the hills and the jungle. Contemporary and yet endowed with rustic materials and provincial flourishes, the resort is an architectural tribute to the Abu region and the outer Aravali’s. The interiors interpret the vernacular highlights of the region and are infused liberally with local materials found in the nearby villages. The air is happy and relaxed while thoughtful spaces encourage community interaction.
Each of the resort’s experiences and rituals across dining, wellness and discovery draw from the values of the region and the Aravali’s.
Our Past lingers on as we become better
Siddharth Singh and Tulika with their naughty daughter Nihira, the proprietor of Ratan Villas, will be your hosts at Ratan Villas. They, along with their charming staff, graciously welcome you into their home and their lives.
Siddharth and Tulika continue to live in a part of the building that was previously the summer cottage building which was the first RCC building outside Mount Abu built in 1989. Through the years, they have lovingly treated the resort and the gardens to charming additions to assure a more comfortable stay without losing the inherent the old woods charm and fusion of style and tastes that define Ratan Villas.
Their investment, indeed their philosophy as is evocative of Rajasthani hospitality, has been to focus on enhancing their guests' experience rather than adding more rooms. The result is a tasteful, personally-run resort in Mount Abu where the attention to detail is second to none and the hospitality, homely without being intrusive.
